Shooting Days

An appartment was rent outside of Ostend (Hydro Palace). There were quite a lot of models involved, some staying for only one day. Lot of back-and-forth driving, and i prefer working with a model for more than one day. One of the models involved is now a known photographer in Cologne. Most of the models were not used to pose in fromt of a camera, that's why the shooting days are held during a complete week. The shootings were organised so that one group of models was on duty, and the second group was free to do some sightseeing in the region. The appartment was located nearby the main tramway.

The pictures were taken in the Eastern side of the harbour. 10 years later, there are not so much interesting locations anymore, most of the old industrial sites were put down to make room for high rise appartments and office buidings. Compagnie Internationale des Wagons Lits, Morubel, Belliard Polyship,... Nothing is left.

We went twice to the North region of France (Pas-de-Calais), to Boulogne sur mer and to Cap Blanc-Nez. It would be nice if we could rent a house in France instead of having to commute eacht day to the shooting region.
